A joint venture between two renowned brands, Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, Vistara is one of the leading Indian airlines. Founded in 2013 in New Delhi, the company is registered as “Tata SIA Airlines Limited.” While Tata Sons holds 51% stake in the venture, Singapore Airlines owns a 49% stake in this partnership. The Indian airline commenced its operations on 9th January 2015 with an inaugural flight from New Delhi to Mumbai. The Economy, Premium Economy and Business class cabin baggage allowance on Vistara flights is 7 kg, 10 kg and 12 kg, respectively. No bag larger than 55 cm X 40 cm X 20 cm is allowed in the cabin on an international or domestic Vistara flight. Apart from the bag, passengers are also permitted to carry ladies handbag, overcoat, camera, walking stick, umbrella, laptop and reading material.
